The proposed application site is now over 9ha with the main area of development the equivalent of over 9 full size football pitches. And the tallest structures are 19m - the size of a six storey block of flats. We have also compared the size to a number of local villages - see below.

  • Location of Proposed Industrial Gas Plant

This map shows the proposed field that will be developed for the industrial gas plant located between Stainby, Sewstern and Gunby. This has been taken from the Planning Application drawing ref 27729/150-B.

  • 7+Ha Layout of Proposed Industrial Gas Plant

This is the proposed layout of the industrial structures proposed within the gas plant and is taken from the Planning Application drawing ref 27729/SK10-H. Please note the trees shown do note exist and will not reach the size shown for over 30years!

  • Elevations of some of the structures

This drawing shows a sample of just some of the huge structures that are proposed. The drawing is taken from the Planning Application drawing ref - 27729/050-D.

  • Larger than 9 full size football pitches

This plan shows how large the site is - 9 full size football pitches each 100x64m would fit within the field proposed for the industrial biogas plant.

  • The tallest structures will be 19m

We know that the tallest structures will be the digesters which will be 19m tall - this compares to a 6 storey block of flats or 6 tractors stacked on top of each other.

  • Several huge structures

There will be several huge digesters 19m tall and approximately 34m wide - in addition there will be a number of massive silage clamps and other industrial structures.
